This project consisted of the installation of a natural treatment system basin for storm water with an adjacent bike trail. The NTS basin was cleared and the existing drainage structures were modified to the proposed improvements with the installation of a low flow channel and sediment traps. The in flow storm drain was fitted with a new catch basin fitted with a slide gate and a headwall at the basin entry area.

A new staircase and three concrete ramps were installed for pedestrian and vehicular access. A new irrigation system was installed in the basin area for the wetland vegetation landscaping. A cable fence was installed around the basin and access gates. Refrigerated sampling units with sampling tubes were placed on in-flow and out-flow to test for water quality.

Adjacent to the basin we installed an asphalt access road, a concrete bike path with trail lighting and turf block. New landscaping and irrigation was installed in the parkway along the bike trail.
